Is it true most east coast medical schools required at least Calculus I for admission? And if so........do you guys know of any in NY and surrounding states. Also, what's the difference btw Calculus I and Calculus for the Managerial & Soc sciences? Anyone please help. THanks :)

hello;
I can answer part of your question. There is a big diffence b/w Calclus I and Management Cal, CAL I is way more difficult compare to mng Cal
For example:

in Cal I you shold know all the tirgonomic functions such as Sin, Cos, tan,.. etc and use them in calculus to solve problems,
You also need to take Trig be4 taking Cal I

On the other hand, in the Management cal you don't need to know the Trigonomic Functions, and it is very simple, you learn a little bet about Derivitives, some simple cal problems' solving and log and graphing, and that is it.
CAL I, Requiers Tig
Mang Cal,Requiers Only Algebra <img border="0" alt="[Wowie]" title="" src="graemlins/wowie.gif" />
I think most med schools Require CAL I <img border="0" alt="[Wowie]" title="" src="graemlins/wowie.gif" />
