I'm a 3rd year beginning the process many of you have just completed. Congratulations, by the way. This forum has been very helpful, but one question remains unanswered.

Does anyone have any information about the EVMS EM residency? I would appreciate any information at all.

Wish I could help ya. I applied there for residency (since I am from the DC area/VA).... but they rejected me. Bastards! As did MCV.

UVA didn't even reject me. Just let me hangin.

Atleast Maryland interviewed me and liked me.

Just curious why your wife wants to leave Norfolk.
Any other advise (about the area) for someone looking to apply to the Norfolk EM program.

Too conservative of a town (the military influence)...no acceptable graduate school in reasonable driving distance...been in Virginia for 6 years and ready to move on...
