Easy online classes

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
That would depend upon the university and, more importantly, the professor teaching the course. Most intro-level and non-major courses would qualify. "For majors only" science courses (or any type of "For majors only" course, really) as well as most arts (e.g., music, art) courses would generally not qualify.

how about no, if your serious about med school take the classes legit bra

Keep in mind most med schools will not accept any of their prereqs online. Prereqs include the basics (Physics, Chem, Ochem, Bio, English, possibly math) as well as more variable ones such as Psych, Genetics, Biochem, x number of Humanities/Social Sciences, and so forth

Can you guys suggest a few easy online classes for me at any university?

Some of these posts are ridiculous. I've known tons of people that have had online classes and gone on to med school. You definitely can't do the pre-reqs, but gen ed?

Speech
English
Spanish
Psych
Sociology
Women's studies

CSUN and CSULB (Cal State schools) have lots of online options.

Those are both prereqs at many schools.

Speech would be good to have in a classroom as it can be helpful for interviews.

Spanish (or any other foreign language) may not be acceptable to the OP's UG for gen eds. (I know my UG had a policy against online foreign language courses because most were/are not likely to be effective.)

The others...sure. No problem.

Psych as a prereq? What schools require/strongly recommend that?

I recall seeing some. I have taken psych courses so I paid little attention to which ones. If it's a crucial criterion for you, I'd suggest paging through the MSAR.

Some schools will let you do the prereqs online as well btw. I did an online biochem class, and the school I was accepted to that required biochem ok'd it.

You're right, I suppose I should have said science pre-reqs. I know people in medical school right now who have done online English. I hadn't heard of Psych specifically being a pre-req, but I can't see why you wouldn't be able to do it onlilne. Chemistriy, Bio, Physics all require lab components, and those you really can't do online.

It would seem a bit silly not to allow English online. All the comp classes generally involve is writing a handful of essays and maybe a bit of discussion on the stories. Discussion can easily be handled in a message board format and essays are, well, essays.
