EC/Volunteer/Community Service

Hi,

I am just wondering if I can leave "brief description" blank in that section? Because when I was in college, I was a member of ACS and AICHE (American Institute of Chemical Engineers), but I was not a president, VP, secretary or whatsoever. Can I still put it... like I was just a member?

I think it would look better if you stated that you were a member and what you did in those organizations. Descriptions gives them a better perspective of what you did instead of just listing off activities, community service, etc.
