Hi,
Do you guys think that shadowing and also volunteering at a poor hospital in a 3rd world country are good EC activities? I was thinking about doing that, but if i actually do it, is there any way to proove in my application that I did all that? or can anyone lie about stuff like that? My main concern is how can I proove in my aplication allthe activities that i've done?

Letters of recommendation. You should have at least one for every EC like that. You will probably also have to talk about it in your interviews.

Is there any standard way of writing those LOR? or is it just a normal letter? is there any forms that I should print out so another person can write this letter?

Anyone in a position to write LORs will know how to write you a LOR. My pre-med office gave me official forms that I could give to letter writers that included what was desired in the letter and where to send it to. If you want a copy of that form, PM me and I'll dig up a version of it that I scanned it. You may want to direct a question along these lines to the pre-med advisor at your school (if you have one).
