ECFMG Certification

Anyone know if there is a cost for the ECFMG certification? The website just says that one needs to pay for the exams, etc. but no specific reference to a payment for certification. Could it be true that this one is free?

I wish I could remember but it got lost among the fees for the uSMLE step one, 2, 3, CSA ($1200), yadda yadda, yadda.

There is a cost...I also can't remember how much but seems like it was under $100.

Check with ECFMG to be sure.

It's in the thousands $$$. You have to pay for each step in your respective country (here in Italy I think they are about 500 euro each) then you have to pay for the CSA exam (around $1000 if I remember correctly)... the CSA exam is in the US so you need to fly there and stay in a hotel so you need to add that cost in as well...

I stopped adding it up. We relaly have no choice in the matter. If you want certification to practice in the US, you have to shell out the dough unfortunately.
