Did anyone minor or major in economics? If so how did you like it?

I'm a public health major but I'm interested in possibly minoring in economics because it seems interesting, but it could also help me stand out in my application.

Let me know your thoughts

It will not make you stand out.
Take it if you enjoy it.

My room mate last year is a pre med majoring in Econ. He likes it because it's a lot less work/difficult courses than a STEM major (at least at our uni). It won't really make you stand out

I'd imagine economics is more rare, obviously the majority are biology. I would imagine even psych, chem, eng, etc to be more common than Econ. It's frequently stated on here that majors or minors don't matter for med school. If an interviewer has interviewed 9 bio majors in a row, he might find the Econ interesting, hypothetically speaking of course!
