efc question---did i F*** up my FAFSA?

i entered both my info. and my parents-----my efc is 2700.

this cannot be for my parents or else i entered their info. drastically wrong.

is the efc based only on our info. since we are considered by the govt. as independent?

when the med schools give us their efc will it include parental info. + our own>

If you are in or will be in med school, dental school, etc, then that EFC is based on your info only, even though you put down your parents.

Note: Almost every school will now look at your parents information on your FAFSA or in their own forms, and will formulate your actual FA package in a way that includes your parents info. Don't get to comfy about that low EFC; the reality may be different.
