Have you guys found, since starting med school, that your efficiency has actually stayed the same as in college but your hours have just gone up? Or most of you think that your efficiency has actually gone up?
I think, since finishing college, that the rate at which I memorize powerpoint slides or learn biologically related topics is actually pretty much the same. I do use some new learning tactics, like understanding topics instead of wasting time memorizing lots of definitions, but I think that there's not much you can do to improve efficiency with this type of material. With math or engineering someone might get better with problem solving, but with this stuff its a lot of memorizing (mixed with some concepts) so I'm not sure it's possible to really change the rate you can learn it at...Am I right?
