According to the passage, diabetes may be associated with:
I. endocrine gland
II. exocrine gland
III. nervous system organs

The passage mentions 1) adrenal diabetes 2) pituitary diabetes 3) and pancreatic diabetes

I put the answer with ONLY the endocrine gland since all of them only have to do with the endocrine glands (pancreatic beta cells have to do with the endocrine side of the pancreas).

The solution says endocrine AND exocrine because the pancreas is also part exocrine gland.

Unless someone thinks otherwise, I call complete BS on this question... pancreatic diabetes only has to do with the endocrine function of the pancreas

Wouldn't you agree that the answer should be Endocrine only?

Eh, they're just testing whether or not you know that the pancreas has both exocrine and endocrine functions. I could argue that it's maybe technically a fair question, but it's unequivocally very poorly written. MCAT questions from the AAMC will generally be of higher quality than EK1001 stuff, thankfully.
