Which will be better worth my time to do for the MCAT? Thanks!

Contrary to what everyone else seems to be saying, I personally thought that Kaplan Biology sectionals/topicals are EXTREMELY helpful.

i can't speak about EK, but kaplan topicals are fantastic, i directly credit it for my mcat success.

Sounds good. I will use Kaplan for bio.

Do you guys think I should replace ek 1001 physics and chem with kaplan section / topicals as well?

No way Kaplan sectionals are better than EK. Try going to your local bookstore and check out both books. EK has a lot more problems and they are geared toward putting knowledge into your head.

Are you saying this is good or bad?

I used both EK Bio/1001 Q's and Kaplan's section tests. They each serve different purposes and are good at what they do. EK Bio/1001 are way better for targeted weakness improvement, ie specific studying on the concepts you know you need to learn. Kaplan sectionals, on the other hand, are good when you want to practice bio in a general sense without any particular emphasis on topic. In addition, the Kaplan sectionals have a tendency to be very challenging, and this can only help you on test day (better be used to a hard bio section and be pleasantly surprised at the easiness of the test than the other way around).

So overall, if you know specifically what you need to learn, use 1001/EK to nail your problem areas, but if your just wanting practice at a section or want to hone test taking/critical thinking skills, take a kaplan section.
