Hey guys, so the question asks
which of the following will not cause a shift in reading frame
and answers B (2 altered base pairs) and C (3 deleted base pairs) both are correct...but they say that B is the correct choice. Is this just a mistake on part of the EK question authors, or am i missing something?
Cause C is an in-frame mutation which does not result in a shift in reading frame.
Cheers

There was thread about this question....Here is the link

If you alter base pairs, you simply replace them with both base pairs. You do not remove or add any nucleotides into the sequence. Thus you do not induce a frame shift.
