Ek books.... Older editons ok?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Does that hold true for the 1001 books too? Are they that different? Anybody else familiar with how different these EK BOOKS are from the early 2000s.

I took my 5th edition books and compared them to the new set they have on the shelves. They are identical, other than some larger fonts and different color text. Same goes for the 1001 editions and even to the verbal 101 book. I actually found the 5th edition set in a public library and scanned them at home, printed them at work. No money spent and I have digital copies of them now. Look around for the older ones, nothing has changed in them, the company is trying to fix minor mistakes (ie for multiple choice answers, sometimes the choices are A B B D) and they want more money, of course.

If money is the issue you can download the new EK books on any torrent site and have them printed and bound at a local print shop for <$20 total. I did this for most of my textbooks in college.

THanks!! I have all of them in older versions. Just making sure they werent totally different for the new versions.

I assure you cant find EK books on torrent. But if you cant find any at a library near you, PM me

Yes you can the pdf files are all 7th edition. Im not saying its legal or ethical but you can. I did a quick search after seeing people on ebay trying to sell "ebook" EK books while trying to find cheap books for myself.
