EK Verbal in Mini-MCAT

Is it just me or are the verbal sections in the EK mini-mcat book harder than other verbal sections?

Someone please tell me this is so, because I keep getting 8's and I have 2 days til the test. My AAMC/EK Verbal book range is 9-11. Did anyone practice with these Mini-MCAT passages?

i agree, they are harder, but how come my mini mcats doesn't have a scale?? what is it like?

Yea I don't know, I've been using the verbal book and the 30 min exam scales

I have been doing the verbal sections of the mini mcats since I can practice verbal till I finish my pre-reqs. The first test I ever took for verbal was a kaplan full length (9 passages) and I missed 8 out of the whole thing and got a 10.

On these mini mcats I am missing 6 out of fifteen

I am going to assume that these are not the same difficulty/style of questions as the real thing, as many people have stated that, but if anyone else has been taking these, could you post up how many you miss per each mini exam? Maybe we could make our own scale
