So I just completed a practice verbal test the EK verbal 101 book..

Am I completely missing something here....? The tests are based on 40 questions, but the raw score conversion is based on 60 questions. I cannot seem to figure it out.

WTF

Ok, I am not getting any responses...so I'll try rephrasing.

I am using the EK 101 VR passage book. I just completed the first test w/ 7 passages (40 Questions). After, I self-graded and received a raw score of 32/40 correct. My question is...how do I convert this number (32/40) to an MCAT score?

The raw score conversion sheet the book gives is out of 60 questions. It doesn't make any sense.

15 ----- 40
14 ----- 39
13 ----- 37-38
12 ----- 35-36
11 ----- 33-34
10 ----- 30-32
9 ------ 28-29
8 ------ 26-27
7 ------ 23-25
6 ------ 20-22
5 ------ 18-19
4 ------ 15-17
3 ------ 13-14
2 ------ 9-12
1 ------ <9

Another poster gave this to me a long time ago, so here it is!

Hope this helps! They screwed up and put the scoring key for the old MCAT instead of new 40 question format.
You and I both got the bad version of EK101 lol

32/40..around a 10/11 depending on the test...it can round up or down.
