elective at harvard

i ve had applied at harvard for an elective as a visiting student and it is 6 weeks before the tentative start date of the elective and i havent heard anythin from them.has anyone had a previous experience of when they notify the applicants?thanx!

From what I know speaking to friends who have applied to Harvard they say they will let you know four weeks in advance of start date.
