Hello!

I'm a Canadian heading to London, England for a one month elective. Other than an Air BnB, I don't know anything about short-term rentals.

If anyone from the area could recommend where to stay, student budget-friendly, it would be super appreciated!

First of all, budget-friendly and London unfortunately do not go together :(
The cheapest way I can think of to stay in London for a month is either through a stay in a hostel, they are reasonably priced but no privacy and shared everything. I stayed once in Central London for £12 a night in a 20 bed shared room. Really cheap, but yeh, I would go crazy for a month.
Is your elective in a hospital connected with a University? They usually have student housing and an office specifically dealing with that kind of stuff. If not, trying to ring one of the universities themselves and asking them might be worth.
Hope this helps, sorry for the lengthy post.
Feel free to PM me if you want more info about London. I live nearby-ish and go there frequently.
