I would like someone to guide me towards a website wherein I can find out which schools in the US are good for which elective program.?

If someone cant, I would want to be doing an elective in surgery/Ortho. If someone could tell me some IMG friendly hopsitals in the US that are well reputed for their elective programs, I'd appreciate it.

Check out: http://services.aamc.org/eec/students/ You'll find most of the med schools and their requirements. Also, try searching this forum for further information.

Exactly that. Broadly speaking, it's any substantial period (i.e. a couple of weeks or more) of training in a specialty that's recognized by your school, so stuff like IFMSA exchanges could also be lumped into it if you get points for them.
