I really liked Wake Forest. On paper it looked great and when I interviewed I liked it even more. Nice hospital and nice people; some big names Dr. Cline is one of the main authors for Tintinalli's book, Dr. Hoekstra just came from Ohio State and is running for a National ACEP office currently, writers for ABEM questions etc; the only thing that surprised me was that the volume was a little lower than I'd expected at just about 50K, but it's growing every year. Also, Winston-Salem was billed as a "bad place for single people" to me by the residents, but they seemed happy.
