It was taking a long time to get a secondary from U of Utah. So, I called them and asked if they'd received my AMCAS yet....They hadn't. So, I called AMCAS. They said that the secondary was made available to U of U two weeks ago. So, I called U of U back and asked them to check on that. The lady told me she would get back to me yesterday. She never called, but that's no big deal. I'm sure they're pretty busy right now. So, I called this morning to ask about it. She told me that they sent me an email last night. It sounded like it was either a rejection or a secondary invite. However, I still have not received it. I know there are delays sometimes in email, but not that much right? To those of you who have already filled out secondaries for U of U, you did get invited via email right? Thanks for the help.

Do I call U of U and risk getting labeled as being annoying for calling so much?

For me, I'd wait until Monday or Tuesday and see what happens. If I haven't seen anything by then, I would give them a call again. You really don't wanna tick off the people in the admissions office.

And yes, I have seen delays in email before. Its odd, but sometimes up to a day. And other times, I don't receive it at all. Seen it happen when friends claim they've sent me an email and I receive nothing.

Yeah, check your spam/blocked folder; I teach and use a .edu e-mail addy and some of my students aren't receiving the messages I send.
