i was under the impression that the branchial arch stuff/ cranial nerve stuff is important, as well as anything having a clinical correlation in terms of congenital anomolies....
but what do I know, Im MS1.
:)

Hold on...are you saying that the COMLEX doesnt have that much Embryology on it? How much does it have? What about USMLE vs. COMLEX in embyology?

Whatever part you learn in pathology 2nd year. Otherwise, it's a waste.

so basically what we study from Robbins regarding congenital pathological diseases e.g.PDA(patent ductus arteriosus(Sp) etc is all we need to know?

thanks for allyour help!

If I'm interested in taking both the COMLEX and USMLE will what I learn at a DO school be enough for both (considering that the COMLEX is devoid of very much embryology and osteopathic schools generally teach so that students will do best on the COMLEX not necessarily the USMLE)?
