Hey,

I have this big embryology exam in about 3 weeks and since I have no idea on how to approach this subject, I wonder if anyone could share some tips?

In order to be effective, should it be mind maps or questions or just reading?

I'm open for suggestions...

I found Embryology to be a very visual subject. It's easier to understand what is happening if you can visualize things in 3d space before learning the underlying reasons for those changes. Our embryo lecturer was pretty awesome and our notes often had diagrams for "coloring along in class" (I kid you not) but when I needed further clarification or detail I found translating diagrams in the book into my own drawings help solidify some things in my mind.

I personally love embryology, and had also had it previously in undergrad, so that probably helped a little bit.
