Gas exchange Btwn mom and embryo in placenta
Allantois is for gas exchange in reptiles and birds and develops into the umbilical cord in humans to transport gas to placenta.
Chorion fuses with allantois in birds and reptiles and serves fog gas exchange memb
Chorionic villi are projections into the placenta and gas exchange happens via these villi.

I think the allantions function is gas exchange as well... It was one of Kaplan questions as I remember! Correct me if I am wrong :)
