Emergency Management Degree????????

There is a degree at my 2 year community college and I think it is health related I really dont know. The degree is Emergency management degree I think? What can you do with this degree?

I'm guessing this is more of an EMS/Rescue/Fire operational degree. I imagine you'd use it to work more on the logistics end of providing emergency management resources.

No, this is probably not a medical degree of any kind and I doubt it would qualify you to do any patient care. Also, I think the degree of choice for people pursuing emergency management as a career would probably be an MPH.

I think it's more like something you'd get if you want an entry-level job with FEMA.
