Since I see most of us Pre-Allopathic folks are newly graduating into the Allopathic forum, I'm putting out a brief reminder that it would be fantastic for future medical school applicants if we could all pass this site along to our new classmates and encourage more contributions. Somewhere among the orientation mass e-mails, if we even got five more people from each medical school to contribute, we'd double the sample size on the site.
Currently, the site indexes 730 profiles, with an average overall GPA of 3.62 and an average MCAT score of 31.5. These applicants applied to an average of 13.9 schools, were invited to an average of 6.0 interviews, and received an average of 2.6 acceptances. Since the launch of the site on January 9th, 2003, there have been 59,350 visitors and 245,253 searches performed. Over 800,000 pages have been served, totalling nearly 13 gigabytes of data.
