Ending a relationship before starting dental school?

Just curious how many of you on here are ending relationships before heading off to dental school this summer/fall. A lot of changes coming up, is being single again a new change for you as well?

I am...I'll be mostly likely ending my relationship with SDN...but I dunno, we've gotten pretty close lately...so things might be off and on.

Either way, I hope SDN understands I wasn't looking for anything serious... 😛

If someone dumps their respective other because they're either going to Dental school or vice-versa, it just shows that the relationship was meaningless to begin with and only existed due to convenience.

I don't know for what reason of one person would end up his/her relationship just because of school or because they think they will find someone better after the graduation to become a Dentist, or don't have time for relationship ...whatever reason is, I think it's cruel when you end up relationship just because of school, I know school is important, your future is important, but things will always work out if you try hard ... unless your parter doesn't want to be there for you ...but to be honest, somehow I don't like doctor, dentist, lawyer, somehow they're so snobby, they think they're all that, so they look down on others ... I rarely use the word "hate" but I have to say that I "hate" those people, and when I see someone like that I know they'll end up with horrible relationship because of my curse hahaha ... I'm so mean now ...sorry ... I'm so sensitive about the "break up" ...

been with my gf for 3 years and she does not think that it will last when i go to dental school. I personally think that it can, but it will be hard. I will most likely have to go out of state, like many others, and not be able to see her for a while. It will feel like we are with each other, but at the same time, are not. I guess ill see what happens, she told me im worth waiting for today and i surely feel the same about her, but who knows.

LD sucks.Ive been doing it for just under two years now.I guess its all in hope that one day he'll be here. I hate talking about this. 🙁
