I haven't heard of anything but do med schools usually require enc1101 and enc1102 (English Composition 1 & 2). I have taken 1 which was not enjoyable with my science course load and rather not take 2 but will if med schools advise to take it.

Appreciate your answers :D

A number of med schools are fine with you satisfying your school's writing requirement. For my school, I am allowed to get away with one explicit writing class (like your composition class) as well as one of a few select upper level science electives (which are writing-heavy).

I don't think they have to be those two classes in particular. I think most med schools require 6 credits of English, but they don't say that they need to be those two. Take a different English course.
