English Course Classification

Hey All,

I have a question regarding AMCAS course classification for the two required english courses. I know I am able to classify two courses designated as having a writing component on my transcript as english courses. However, both of these are science courses and I would benefit from classifying them as BCPM for science GPA purposes—am I required to formally classify these two courses as english? Or can I classify BCPM and the med schools will know I've completed the writing-intensive english course requirement?
