It took a while for it to finally sink in, but I am so glad that I am doing English as a double major. These secondary applications on "diversity" and "why do you want to be a doctor" in 1000 characters or less cannot possibly compete with the mastery of BS that naturally comes with a degree in literature (and I mean that affectionately).
Seriously, if any of you guys have a chance, take a writing or literature class, or any liberal arts class that requires you to write about something abstract or creative. It'll be worth it. The Liberal Arts are not entirely useless- it is very, very important in life to hone your BS skills
