So, I am trying to finalize my list of schools before submitting the AMCAS...
My issue is that I have not taken any English classes. AP English gave me "credit" for WRIT101 but no actual credit hours. I am not sure whether I should even consider applying to schools that require 1 or 2 semesters of English.

I could sign up for an English class next semester, but it would not show up on my application...
What should I do?

FYI: GPA = 3.96 and MCAT = 35

Any help is greatly appreciated!

You can say on AMCAS that you plan on taking it. Most schools require it but you just need to have it completed by the time you matriculate, not by the time you apply.

I would probably take one semester this fall and the second in the spring just to cover my bases.

Alternatively, some schools will let you substitute writing-intensive courses from other departments. Do you have anything like that?

You can apply before you fulfill all your pre-reqs. You just have to finish them before you enter med school. Your fine.
