I am just signing up for my final semester of classes, and I wanted to make sure that I have completed all the requirements for English. I have taken several writing classes (denoted as writing courses i.e. writing intensive senior seminar) outside of the English department, but I am not sure if this would be considered "English" by the schools. Do I have to call each school to find out?

Why not just take a class in the english department to be 100% safe?

I think that would be considered English. But I think the traditional English they consider is English 1313 and 1323, 1 and 2, freshman and sophomore English. They most basic because it's not as major as the sciences
