There's been this somewhat silly debate going on in my TPR class about the essay section and the use of pens. Is is true that for the essay section you have to use black pen or is anything (blue pen, pencil, etc.) acceptable. Only got blue pens, so if this is true...gotta go buy some. any info appreciated!
thanks

I know that you have to use a PEN for the writing sample, and not a pencil. I don't think the color of the pen matters, blue or black is probably fine. Try checking out the AAMC website or the info. on your registration ticket.

They require black pen, because the essay is going to be xeroxed prior to grading and black ink xeroxes the best.

It seems that a company as big as PR should a) know that already and b) not waste valuable study/learning time on a formality. This further substantiates my opinion that most of these companies that claim to be such experts on the exam really don't know that much about it. Why do so many people accept their claims of expertise without question?

Everyone needs to bring their admission ticket to take the test.

And if you bother to read the ticket is tells you "what to bring on test day" come on kiddies step up
