I have the Essential Oral Board Review (most recent edition, which is 3rd) and the Ultimate 6-Day Review workbook. There is no writing/highlighting in the textbook; there is minimal writing in the workbook.
I took Dr. Ho's course this Spring and passed the boards; both the course and the books were superb.
The books list for $700. However, note that the cover to my textbook is beat up, which would of course justify a lower price.
