Anybody know whether a residency program in esthetic dentistry would satisfy the NYS licensure requirement? These residencies aren't CODA/ADA-recognized, but do the 2 years of esthetics residency count towards the 2 years of practice needed for dentists trained in other states seeking licensure in NYS?

I believe the residencies must be coda/ada approved to be nys recognized

there is no esthetics residency , there are some courses for 2-3 years but they don't give you a residency

The two years of training will count toward the five you will need to obtain a NYS license by credentials as long as you are licensed in another state during that time and you are
working full time. The training itself will not allow you become licensed on the basis of completion of that residency alone, as it is not accredited.
