    I love this guy. Anyone else seen and liked his diary of a third year med student? It got me thru many a despairing night on rotations....

    Hey, gherelin. :) I follow Emily from time to time. She, also having had a "former life", and in her case being a former high school English teacher, I find her writing quite appealing. But that could just be my bias (she and I trod similar paths).

On the opening screen to the SDN community you can find many that have posted their diaries here of their experiences in medical school. Sometimes it's interesting to look back and realize just how far you've come.

    Sorry I was a tad confusing. I was just responding to your comments of the diarist you found, though initially I thought it was one that was posted here. Apparently not.

    Oh I see. Michael Greger is much more bleak, unfortunately. His claim to fame,actually though,is a lot of work he's done since graduation on Mad Cow Disease. He was actually Oprah Winfrey's expert witness in that case where she got sued by the Beef Council for saying she was worried about eating burgers.
