OK so I slacked in November and got a mediocre "disinterested" student eval for 1 rotation, distracted by interviewing and board's studying. The vast majority of my evals prior have been positive. This obviously never made my dean's letter and 4th year is P/F, got a solid "P." Will this ever have an impact on my life? I doubt I will ever try for another residency other than the one I've matched to and I know our school does not rewrite dean's letters once they are written.

Seems like youve answered your own question, dont know why it would matter. Didnt everyone do the same thing during their senior year in college. I partied like a mad man, not that i let school get in way before, but it was much more guilt free afterwards.

Seriously, my friend and i just quit our path rotation in favor of a neurorads b/c they were expecting too much and not letting us hang out. Senioritis baby.

Dude, a path rotation was expecting too much? Wow, I just matched into path and trust me, I have never heard of a path rotation for non-path bound students that expected you to even show up everyday. If I were you I would drop it too.

Nope, not at all. If it did, my classmates and I would be majorly screwed. 😀

I got one of my best evals ever this past month. And it means nothing!! 🙂 But seriously, I think at this point, all that your residency will care about is that you actually fulfilled graduation requirements. They realize (just like everybody else) that you don't care much anymore. Just be happy you didn't get that eval before your dean's letter went out.

This lady was power tripping cuz the real boss was on vacation. She would email and call us to check where we were and was dead set against us hanging out, thats the only reason we took it. To hang out and have lots of free time, whats wrong with ppl these days.
