Examkracker Verbal Strategy?

According to EK after taking the VR practice test we must-
(1) Stay away from verbal for one day
(2) Return to verbal test and answer the questions without reviewing the passage. Spend ATLEAST 30 mins per passage
(3) Take one day break
(4) Return to the same passages again. But this time review the passages and the questions.

How does this strategy help? Has anyone tried it? It would take 4.5 - 6 hours to review the 9 passages in each VR section. Is this practical?

I was actually wondering the same thing. That is a lot of time to invest and I'm not sure it's worth while. Any suggestions anyone?
