Is it a bad idea to stop volunteering once you are done with the applications? I have gotten into "a medical school" but not an ideal one that I would like to attend. So, I am not going to be applying next year.

Will it look bad if I tell the interviewers that "I am just focusing on my courses and working part time" when they me ask what I am doing this year?

What about for sending update letters/letter of intent in a few months? I think in those letters you basically tell them things that you have been doing throughout the year. :scared:
