Both of my friends thought it was pretty tough ...
I really didn't think it was all that bad... There were 5-10 questions I was 50/50 on, but otherwise I thought I did OK.
I had form AG. As always, I thought the passages were fairly doable, but the questions were worded poorly. There was quite a bit of humanities, and if I understand the passage I usually get ~80%+ correct. I swear my version didn't have ONE real science passage... which sucks because I think I've missed 3 total science questions on aamc's 3r-6r.
The heartland passage wasn't the worst thing in the world, you just had to get through what the guy was emphasizing. I had to read a lot of similar bull**** in high school World History. It was NOT easy, but it was doable. It may have been the hardest passge however.
I liked the threshold theory essay - very doable. My roommate is a nut for alternative medicine and pesticides = evil so it basically just repeated all of his propaganda.
Malthus /cruelty/Christianity essay was really pushing the realms of organizatoin, but the quesitons were cool.
The article on cultural misappropriation was ****ing KICKASS! I took a class on black intellectual history, and I seriously had to read ~100 pages on the co-opting of innercity art forms.
I ave. an 11 on verbal and if I had to guess I would say I got an 11-12. A 12 would really be nice for this chem major. I just skimmed the oral tradition passage and I had to rush the first 2 questions, I know I had it to 50/50 at least. I literally had to fill in the last bubble 4 seconds after the proctor said "STOP, PENCILS DOWN!" Doesn't it feel good just to be done?
