is it true that, since the maximum for Federal Stafford Loan is only $18.5k/yr, the ALP (alternative loan program) loan would be necessary if I want to borrow the full amount?
so the ALP is in addition to Stafford, not in lieu of, right? and what do I put down as the ALP loan amount requested? just the balance after subtracting $18.5k? anyone know what the interest rate is for ALP?
