Family Medicine Secrets

Has anyone used the book Family Medicine Secrets for the family medicine clerkship and done well? I am at a loss as to what to use to study for this shelf. I am currently reading Blueprints and it seems like too much of an overview. What has everyone used and what do they recommend.

And yes, I do understand that there are stickies on this subject but they are more than two years old and there is a newer Blueprints out now for it. Also, there is another thread on the subject, but no one has responded on the actual subject at hand. So please give us people some feedback on what to use. Thanks.....

I am interested in this too. I got FM for my first Year III rotation. Our school apparently gives out some CD of what they think you should know, but, well, my faith in that isn't too high.

I have heard about Swanson's, Blueprints (which one? Clinical Cases or other book), Step 2 secrets, NMS Family Med Q+A, Essenetials of Family Med, MKSAP3, Pre-test PD, etc.

so......which one or two is best for the shelf exam???
