What's the starting salary for a FM doctor in California (fresh out of residency)? What should I be expecting? Are there signing bonuses? Anyone know anything about Kaiser's salary and their system? Thanks!

Kaiser pretty much dictates what FP gets paid. Nor cal gets around $260 to start and a $20k signing bonus (or something along those lines).
So cal is around $240k. Minimal signing bonus.

But...you have to work for Kaiser

Most of the jobs I looked at ranged from 240k to 275k

This is for both FM/SM and purely SM positions. The purely SM were higher. I only looked at one or two that were purely FM and those were 205-220.

265k starting salary and 150k sign on bonus that is actually a forgiveable loan after 7 years of work, plus 10k relocation, pension, 401k, free medical insurance.
