1) Anything from The National, partial to Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers and B-side tracks
2) River Arms by Balmorhea
3) One Cello x 16: Natoma by Zoe Keating

x2 for the xx - great album
Some random classical (works better for studying I find)
Other more chill/atmospheric albums - to again repeat earlier mentioned ones, National/Radiohead (In Rainbows more than the other ones for this purpose) and some Arcade Fire

For the past few weeks, I haven't been able to get enough of these 3:

Red Hot Chili Peppers
The Kings of Convenience
The Kooks

Legend of the Black Shawarma by Infected Mushroom

You guys ever here of Raphael Saadiq? He's sweet

anything explosions in the sky.

Lord of the rings: 1, 2 and 3

NPR, It doesn't distract me or forces me to burst out singing while in the library :D

My study mix is unparalleled.

Explosions in the Sky, Appleseed Cast (Sagarmantha, Low Level Owl), Broken Social Scene, Grizzly Bear (Yellow House), Jose Gonzalez, Instrumentals by Phoenix, etc...

Good study music has to be able to fade into the background easily.

You're welcome.

Cool username, man

I really like the new Inception soundtrack.

I really like the new Inception soundtrack.

When I saw the movie, I immediately noticed how awesome the soundtrack is, especially Dream is Collapsing. Hans Zimmer is a boss

I just go to pandora radio, and use a "hard rock" station, gives a bit of variety, and helps me stay awake.

Haven't heard of the rest, but EIS is great for studying. And yes, it does have to fade into the background. Try listening to Drake and studying at the same time.

The Best of Louis Armstrong

Jack Johnson/ John Mayer are also two guys that chill me out while I study

Anything by sublime or slightly stoopid
