Chocolate. Chocolate with caramel is even better. I'm bringing a large bag of Rolos to the test with me 😀

does brain food really exist? anything goes for me as long as it doesn't make me sleepy.

My dad used to be/still is big on almonds as brain food. I'll give him credit, almonds with raisins/dried cranberries are delicious. But I was always confused by this. He said he heard about this back when he was growing up in his remote village wherever the hell he grew up. He said all of his family ate almonds. It wasn't until later that I learned his parents were both illiterate, and out of their 5 children only 2 of them could read.
After that I gave up on almonds. Sure, his illiterate siblings might not be stupid, but eating almonds sure as hell didn't help them out in other ways. Meanwhile, my dad still buys the huge bags of almonds from Costco....
Now, I espouse the value of pomegranate juice wherever I go. It's delicious and nutritious.

bananas and V8 came out with a new juice...its one of those v8 splash juices so it doesnt taste nasty like the plain tomato one but its different from thier really fruity ones, it has both a serving of fruit AND vegetables....and it tastes good!

haha.. eh..
I love almonds too.
Just wondering, jebus, the ones that you dad bought, are they raw? if so, does he just eat it like that? do they need to be washed or slightly cooked before eaten?

Pom supposed to have lots of antioxidants, but Pom juice are so pricy!..

Roasted almonds, if I recall. He just eats 'em out of the bag.
Pom is supposed to be healthy, but you're right when you call it expensive. Plus, it is the essence of constipation. I don't want to talk about it much, but when I first bought it, I downed a huge bottled of it right away (it is good). I was backed up for days, eventually it felt like I was giving birth through my ass.
Anyway, back to brain food.
