Federal Bureau of Prisons internships

Has anyone had experience interviewing at, or been placed at an internship within the Bureau of Prisons? Specifically, any of the Medical Centers? If so, what was your background? Had you had an externship at a prison? Did you have forensic experience? Is that something that was required? Are these spots very competitive? Thanks!

Haven't had experience personally, but no someone at BOP. Yes, he had forensic experience - tons. Probably over 1500 intervention hours for clinical. Tons of publications and posters. A masters from a forensic program and a PhD with a forensic advisor. He is a super star though. These are very competitve generally because they pay much better than other internships....
