Now that I'm done with the MCAT and school, I need to look for a job and apply for med school. I want to be a CNA so I can gain some clinical experience, but the training costs $500!!! Right now I have $70 in my bank account. It's almost rediculous to need money to make money.
Considering that I have no clue how I did no my mcat, I don't have the confidence to apply yet and this feeling hinders me from writing an essay about why I want to be a doctor. I know I should be able to babble about why I want to be a doctor on cue, but I just feel lost. There's this feeling of emptiness right now and ironically because I feel overwhelmed with no resources (money and a good score) to effectively handle my problem.

just venting

At ROP (I think it stands for Regional Occupational Program, but not sure) there are trainings for certain "lower level" health professions. (I don't mean to put those positions down!!) They don't cost a lot but do take some time to complete. Try looking there. I know you can complete training for emt-b, medical assistant, insurance, etc. Vent away! But I hope you feel better soon!
