Dang. The lengths that the owner went to to save the cat is sweet though.

It never really occurred to me that we try experimental treatments (things of this sort, at least, like prosthetics) on animals in a therapeutic manner. Instead of using animals bred solely for testing, take animals with medical need and run a clinical trial of sorts. Really cool.
