Hi,
As an IMG, it is not so difficult to obtain an IM or FP residency, but what about a fellowship? Does an IMG have a harder time getting it? Also, does doing a university hospital based residency as opposed to a community hospital residency higher an IMG's chances of obtaining a fellowship? What are some other options open for people after residency? What are the benefits of doing a fellowship? Any insight will help...
