Fellowship oyher than the traditional fellowships

I am currently looking at fellowship options but am not interested in the currently offered traditional fellowships. Have any PMR docs done fellowships in field not offered to PMR docs. I am interested in movement disorders. Its a non-ACGME fellowship offered to neurology residents. However, if I can secure funding for the fellowship then I may be able to pursue it with the nwurology department at my current instituition. Are there any funding sources that I can apply for. I have heard of fellowship fundings that residents apply for.
