fellowship q - usmle scores?

sorry i have asked this a long time ago, but now i am getting closer to applying for fellowships...

i am considering a pretty highly competitive fellowship=> allergy imm

based on people who have applied to fellowships and gotten in, do usmle step1/2 score matter at all. i did okay on step 1 (avg) but fell apart on step 2...

will this matter at all when i apply for fellowship?

Recently, i filled 50 Cardiology applications, all of them
asked step1,2,3, scores, pass dates. Also they request
you to send xerox copies of your scores.
Only 2 or 3 of them did not ask for the scores in the
application , xerox copies.

I belive these scores may help them to screen the
applicants . May be matters to get an interview.
